Roll Tyler, Roll!

Tyler has the ability to roll over from his back onto his tummy, it is usually just the motivation that he lacks. However, if you put a remote control on the floor, just out of his reach, he will gladly roll over to try and obtain it. Which does, in my humble opinion, prove the fact that the male desire to control the remote is present at birth! But once on his tummy, even with desired object in hand, he cries to be rolled over onto his back.

Early this morning we were awoken to his cries only to discover he had rolled onto his tummy in his sleep and he wanted to be put back on his back. We repeated this process twice this morning until hunger overpowered his need to return back to sleep. So while I now desire for him to be able to roll from back to front, and front to back, at will I am astonished at how far we have come.
