I hear Tyler "talk" on a daily basis, stringing together consonants and vowels in random patterns and babbling this new language to all who can hear. As a parent I'm so proud of this accomplishment. I read in all my parenting books that he is, developmentally, where he should be. But, in the back of my mind I had managed to convince myself that the sounds he makes are unique to Tyler.
I couldn't have been more wrong. There is a baby in the Library now who sounds exactly like Tyler! He is "talking" the same and even his laugh is Tyler's. If I didn't know that Tyler was still playing happily at daycare I would think that Chris brought him in to surprise me. It is amazing how babies can sound so similar.
