If you know me, you know I grew up with a big interest in Martin Luther King Jr. Today, as we stand on the threshold of a new America, I am reminded of those days that I spent learning about Dr. King. Perhaps as he grows up, Tyler could draw inspiration from Tuesday's historic election, and the potential legacy that will follow.
CNN announced results of a poll that asked parents, "Could your child be President someday?" Prior to Obama's election, 46% said yes. According to CNN, today that number has increased to 64%.
