Picture Wednesday

Tyler is doing well. He loves to walk around, especially in the grocery store. If you put him on the floor, he's like a wind-up toy who just zooms off as soon as his little feet touch the ground. He's very good about not grabbing at shelves and picking things off the ground, although he does point out all the yukkies he sees there.

He can say his name now very clear. It sounds like Tyluh, but still very articulate.

He still loves the rough stuff, and he's very ticklish when in the right mood. If you get him just under his chin, he'll usually laugh pretty good, and squirm away, but then roll back to you for more.

He continues to amaze us at how much he knows. You've seen the videos of him cleaning the floor and picking up the yukkies. That's just the beginning. There is just something about him...he seems to "get it". He understands so much and is so observant that it surprises me sometimes when he says or does something from a few days ago that he still remembers, even thought it happened only once.

He's now learned the sign for cookie. Which he uses all the time, cuz he loves Fig Newtons and any type of cookie. We tried to hide the fig newtons the the cabinet, but he's smarter than that and would point to the cabinet and sign for them.
