The title of this post refers to how many words Tyler has in his vocabulary. Kelly and I sat down and made a list and we were surprised to see how many he actually says. I don't know the standard for a child his age, but we were excited to know it was this many.
This list is of words he uses voluntarily, and not words he copies from hearing us. Any one of these words would be used in a conversation with him.
For words he doesn't articulate perfectly, I have added a "Tyler Pronunciation Guide" to show you how he says that particular word. These are in the order we thought of them:
